It’s our mission to treat our product with the utmost thoughtfulness and respect from inception all the way to delivery at your front door.
That’s why we take every precaution that your order arrives exactly how it should. We vacuum pack and individually freeze our meat, and then insulate it thoroughly. We use insulated foam and a combination of freezer bricks, gel packs, and insulated bags to insure proper temperature during its delivery.
Your meat will be shipped UPS 2 day air and goes out Monday or Tuesday in order to arrive within the same week. If you have a special request, please call us at 308-920-0274.
In order that your meat arrives in tip top shape, we will send you notification emails regarding the location of your package as it travels to your chosen destination. We recommend making arrangements for someone to be available to receive your package so that it can get into proper refrigeration as soon as possible.
If for some reason, your order doesn’t arrive as expected, please take a picture and call us right away.
Storing and thawing
To keep frozen, simply transfer the meat from the shipping package to your freezer. We recommend using your meat within 6-12 months for best flavor.
To thaw, we recommend putting your meat in the fridge overnight. If you’re in a hurry, you can place your meat in cool water for about 30 minutes.
Once your meat is thawed, you’ll want to cook it within a day or two.
Cooked meat is delicious as leftovers, just make sure to refrigerate right away and consume them within the next 3-5 days or so.
